This pattern has a hidden foam disc in the head, allowing me to create a bulky looking fly, with a great silhouette, whilst using minimal materials. The disc also causes the fly to push a lot more water, creating more vibration.
Being all synthetic, these flies shed almost all water weight, on a single false cast.
Tied on super sharp and strong Sakuma Manta Extra hooks in 4/0, using only the very best quality materials.
This pattern can easily be cast on an 8wt.
